Home Safety & Mobility Assessments

Your home should feel safe and manageable — but as mobility changes, everyday things like stairs, bathrooms and uneven floors can become a worry. Our physiotherapists carry out a thorough and practical assessment of how you move around your home, identify any risks, and give you clear recommendations to help you stay safe and independent.

What we look at

During the assessment we look at how you manage stairs, getting in and out of chairs and bed, moving around the kitchen and bathroom, and any trip hazards or furniture that could be putting you at risk. We also assess your mobility aids and whether they are still right for you.

What you get

After the assessment you'll receive clear, practical recommendations tailored to your home and your needs. This might include advice on equipment, changes to your furniture layout, or a referral to an occupational therapist if adaptations to your home would help.
